Zong last year in October introduced Zong IDEOS the most affordable Android 2.2 Froyo handset in Pakistan with the collaboration of Huawei. The selling price of this amazing handset was for Rs.15,999 with 6 months of free GPRS. The new reduced price of Zong IDEOS Android 2.2 Froyo handset is Rs.10,999 only, and yes still with 6 months free GPRS Internet.
Now the real question is, Is Zong bringing up any new Android 2.3 gingerbread handset? If they are going to continue their collaboration with Huawei, then most probably IDEOS X3 will be the next upcoming handset for Android 2.3 lovers in Pakistan at an affordable price.

ASA,
I am thinking about buying the mobile but after confirming that it has built in PDF viewing support. Can any one confirm this. What I want is that while surfing if I encounter a PDF link and if I click it then it should open right inside the browser window.
Regards,
Wahaj
@ Wahaj,
I bought this set 2 days ago. I am loving it, in this price I guess its the best phone. It has Froyo 2.2 and is running all the apps. Let me check the issue which you are telling and update you.
Thanks Talal,
Try accessing this PDF online: http://blogs.adobe.com/security/SampleSignedPDFDocument.pdf
Do you see if it gets loaded and shows the signature in their?
Alternatively.. go to this URL: http://www.globaltrustfinder.com/PDFCorporateSigningStep1.aspx and hit ‘Sign PDF button’. This will show a digitally signed PDF inside the browser.

Can you please also try this as well:

What I have now learned that there are plenty of devices e.g.Black Berry, HTC based Android which can open the PDF when you open it directly but not with in the browser i.e. if they are rendered inside the browser. The above check is crucial for us. If you could test then it would be great. For this either the browser needs to be capable to render the PDF or it utilizes the already installed software to show it.
